On Day 1, participants will arrive at Liberia International Airport (LIR) in Costa Rica. Pre-arranged shuttles will transport everyone to Villas Espavel in Samara, a scenic two-hour drive from the airport. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodations.  Guests will have a private room in one of the shared villas. Some rooms will have private baths and some will have shared baths.  Your hosts will make every effort to take your preferences into consideration in assigning you your private room in the shared villa. After booking, your host will reach out to inquire about any specific preferences.

That evening, you’ll be welcomed with a relaxing poolside meet-and-greet cocktail party, followed by a delicious dinner prepared by a local chef.

Each day of the retreat blends hands-on investment education with immersive Costa Rican experiences. Mornings begin with optional activities, including surf lessons, yoga, a whale and dolphin tour, an ATV hidden beaches tour, or jungle zip-lining. In the afternoons, you'll gain expert insights on key topics:

• Day 2: A private real estate tour to explore investment opportunities and understand the local market.
• Day 3: Training on property management, hiring staff, and contracting local services.
• Day 4: Legal guidance on structuring your investment and navigating Costa Rican laws.
• Day 5: Financial deep dive into building investment pro formas, estimating NOI, and negotiating deals.
• Day 6: No Classes - Free Time
• Day 7:  No Classes - Free Time

On Day 8, participants will check out and take pre-arranged shuttles back to Liberia International Airport for their departing flights. For those who wish to extend their stay and explore more of Costa Rica, we’re happy to provide recommendations and suggestions for additional destinations and experiences to continue your adventure.

Yes, you may add one (1) significant other to the retreat to share your room for an additional $350. Make sure to select to "Add a Significant Other" on the checkout page.  

There is a full refund if you cancel your retreat registration 30-days prior to the retreat for any reason. 

If you cancel within 30-days of the retreat, you will receive 50% of the registration fee. If we are able to fill the vacation spot prior to the retreat start date, we will refund the remaining 50%.

We will do everything we can to fill your spot as the group receives the greatest benefits with a full class of participants.
